With reference to the letter CRV/H/421 addressed to you on December 17th by the Ministry of Munitions regarding the tin situation in Hongkong I am directed by Sir L.Worthington Evans to transit to you herewith a copy of a letter received from the London Chamber of Commerce upon the same subject together with a draft answer which it is proposed, subject to the concurrence of the Secretary of State for the Colonies to send to the Chamber.
